....but sometimes I just HAVE to do it! Like this article about a woman offended while breast feeding her infant in a public place.

Mom and I went round and round about this issue. I was a hippie kid who thought all things natural were beautiful. This photo does not offend me. (sorry if it bothers you, don't mean to be annoying)

I would wear loose blouses of light woven cotton, flip the blouse up, insert baby, drape blouse strategically and feed child. You would see a little belly skin and the fabrics were light so you might view a silhouette of baby and "bottle". I felt socially acceptable.

Mom would fling a blanket at my head and tell me to cover up or go to the bedroom! AAARRRGGH! NO! Won't, can't make me! This was in our home! Who's to look? Even if they could what would they see?
It's just not done, she'd reply. I would snap, it is too, I AM doing it! I would then add, it's 90 degrees in here, the blanket is too warm for us and keep feeding.

Yes, I would feed discreetly in public. Even if you have to show a little tit, the kid's gotta eat, ladies have to feed it, get over it, PLEASE!

Personally, and IMHO, I only wear clothes at all because they put you in jail if you don't. There would be fewer reasons for porn, peeping toms and flashers if nudity was more commonly accepted.

Sticking neck out, again. Just an old hippie and I don't know what to do. I conform daily but rebel inside. When I'm too old to put in jail maybe I will run around the yard nude with my pet wrinkle pup!

P.S. While I'm NOT a news blogger I may as well let you read the blog about the sad dog story with a happy ending.
